Tekken 6 PSP Coming This November 24

Namco Bandai has announced that the development of Tekken 6 for PlayStation Portable console has been completed. This fighting franchise game will be available starting November 24 in U.S. stores. Tekken 6 (PSP) would also be available through PlayStation Network for PSPgo on December for $40 (Rs. 1,920 approx.). Tekken 6 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles is already available.

Tekken is 14-year old fighting multi-platform franchise game which arrives on PSP again after Tekken Resurrection. Action packed Tekken 6 promises robust gameplay and large roster of characters. Arcade, Story, Time Attack, Survival and Gold Rush are the five game modes to test the might of the players. The game also offers character specific storyline for the 40 playable characters and customization items.

The game features 18 battle stages in all and the PSP version will support ad-hoc multiplayer in additional four stages through the adhocParty online service for PSP. However, the adhocParty service is available only in Japan and U.S. Players would also be able to transfer ghost data to fight against players who aren't connected.

This game might be available in India next month or in January 2010. The Indian pricing remains unknown at this moment.

Special PSP For Kingdom Hearts in Japan

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Square Enix is kicking off the new year over in Japan with Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep for the PSP. If you've been keeping up with the RPG giant's Japanese PSP releases, you'll know what this means: limited edition PSP time!

The Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Kingdom Hearts Edition bundle combines a copy of Birth by Sleep with a special PSP-3000 unit. The PSP is silver, with a black frame and a bunch of Kingdom Hearts logos on its front and back.

Importers should set aside 22,000 yen for the bundle. This is a savings of about 900 yen over buying the game and a standard PSP-3000 system separately.

Monster Hunter Unite, Gran Turismo PSP - Online Multiplayer via PlayStation 3 adhocParty

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP Gran Turismo PSP

Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 3's "adhocParty" functionality will debut in North America later this month, allowing those that own both a PlayStation 3 and PSP to play portable games like Gran Turismo PSP and Monster Hunter Freedom online.

Supporting only certain titles, the adhocParty service essentially transforms the PlayStation 3 into an online access point, which then enables the ad hoc multiplayer of compatible PSP games to be played across the internet instead of locally.

Sony is billing adhocParty as a "new social gaming service," with Capcom North America and Europe's COO Mark Beaumont noting that "at last, Monster Hunter fans will be able to adventure together, regardless of where they are in North America."

Vagrant Story Will Come Soon for PSP

Vagrant Story

It seems PlayStation games are getting some attention for PSP handheld recently. Now, Square Enix's classic RPG game, Vagrant Story will come soon for PSP. I can tell that this game is a big hit on PlayStation and it really is a great game in my opinion.

Vagrant Story was released on the Japanese PSN quite a while ago.

It was originally believed that the game would arrive as early as next week, but Square Enix has since confirmed otherwise. No official date has been given right now, but hopefully it will arrive soon. Who knows? Maybe it'll even give the PSN version of Final Fantasy VII a run for its money.

LittleBigPlanet 2 would be "counterproductive"

Media Molecule has said developing a sequel to LittleBigPlanet is not on the agenda because it would fragment the community, on which the game is so heavily focused.

Level designer Danny Leaver said: "We'd never want to do that. That'd be the most counterproductive thing you could do I think."

Little Big Planet PSP

MM has released regular DLC updates for the PS3-exclusive platformer, ranging from Sackboy suits and new sticker packs to more substantial expansions like the MGS Level Pack, and more of that seems to be the plan.

"I think what you've seen so far from LittleBigPlanet, that's the way it's going to continue," producer Martin Lynagh told Critical Gamer.

LittleBigPlanet PSP is due for release in US on November 17, with a UK release expected around the same time. Look out for a full review later today.

PSXE Poll Update: Who Says Stories Aren't Important?

Metal Gear Solid 4

If this doesn't prove that PSX Extreme has a very unique community, absolutely nothing does.

While we all know that gameplay is always the most important factor in any video game (this is an interactive hobby, after all), we wanted to know what you guys considered to be the second most important element. And we were certain that graphics would run away with the most votes this week; we can guarantee it would at most every other major gaming site on the 'Net. But we kinda forgot how many RPG fans we've got around here, and just how excited many of you are about upcoming games like Heavy Rain and Final Fantasy XIII. Oh, and let's not forget that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, a game that was essentially defined by its outstanding story, is also greatly beloved 'round these parts. Graphics did come in third and it was sort of close, but the fact that story is so important to so many should only prove to developers that we really do appreciate quality scripts, excellent character development, and well-implemented and choreographed cut-scenes.

This week, considering that Bayonetta has been in the news a lot, we're just gonna ask: who do you think is the hottest video game vixen of the generation thus far? Of course, we can only give you 10 options so we can't satisfy everyone but we tried to hit the highlights. And while we realize that girls like Bayonetta and Madison from Heavy Rain haven't graced our TV screens just yet, it's plenty easy to check 'em out...Madison has been topless already, remember? So who gets your vote? And oh yeah, because all the Dead or Alive girls are designed to be perfect, they're all included in one category.

Dynasty Warriors 6 for PSP

Dynasty Warriors 6

As for me, I'm all good with DW Strikeforce but obviously, the game isn't that easy for me, that's why it took me a long time before I finished the game itself. The features of the game is all good and other stuffs. Now, DW 6 is going out for PSP and I'm personally excited playing it.

KOEI wants us DW fans to experience even more killings of mindless soldiers. They decided to release DW 6 for PSP, based on the PS2 game of the same title. The enhanced port will include ad-hoc multiplayer, new good looking costumes for characters and Meng Ho, freshly from DW 6: Empires.

Unfortunately, the game is under TBA status for Japan release, but a US release is likely. As we all know, KOEI has released most DW games in the States, so we don't have to worry about it.
